About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Support Worker Specialist to join our team at Riverside. As a Support Worker Specialist, you will play a vital role in delivering an outstanding service to our customers, providing support and guidance to help them achieve their goals and improve their overall well-being.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the Service Manager in planning and delivering services to meet the needs of our customers.
  • Actively engage with customers, stakeholders, and local services to ensure they receive the support they need.
  • Develop and deliver a range of practical and emotional asset-based approaches to support customers.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure a consistent, asset-based support approach for all customers.
  • Produce reports and other written documentation as required to support service delivery.
  • Ensure the safety and security of all customers, following health and safety and safeguarding policies and procedures.
About You

We are looking for someone with:

  • Recent experience of support work, risk management, and managing caseloads and working with vulnerable and diverse customer groups.
  • Experience of working in challenging environments with the ability to plan, prioritise, and organise tasks to achieve results.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with customers and stakeholders.
  • Knowledge and proven continuous personal development of working with vulnerable adults, utilising specialist knowledge.
  • A team player with a caring, empathic, supportive, flexible, and resilient 'can-do' attitude.
