About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Specialist Support Worker to join our team at Riverside. As a Specialist Support Worker, you will play a key role in supporting our customers to achieve their goals and improve their overall well-being.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support customers to develop new skills and knowledge to enhance their independence and confidence
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to deliver a high-quality service that meets the needs of our customers
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with customers, colleagues, and external agencies to ensure a comprehensive support package
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of support plans that are tailored to the individual needs of our customers
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of support plans and make recommendations for improvement
Requirements
  • Experience of working with vulnerable adults and supporting them to achieve their goals
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with customers, colleagues, and external agencies
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and contribute to the development and implementation of support plans
  • Knowledge of the principles of person-centred support and the ability to apply these in practice
  • Ability to work flexibly and respond to changing circumstances and priorities
