Job Description:

A fulfilling SEMH Teaching Assistant role has become available at a highly-regarded primary school/tuition centre in Swindon. The successful candidate will be employed on an immediate and long-term basis.

The SEMH child has an educational, health, and care plan (EHCP) that outlines specific targets and outcomes. The ideal candidate will be patient, take time to understand the child's needs, and demonstrate a genuine desire to make a positive impact.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide specialist support and training to the child
  • Work closely with the class teacher and SEMHCO to develop strategies and outcomes
  • Ensure the child's EHCP is implemented and monitored
Requirements:
  • Previous experience working with children with special educational needs
  • Desirable experience working with children with Autism
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team
Salary and Benefits:

The successful candidate will receive a competitive salary of £80 - £95 per day, depending on experience. In addition, we offer expert training and development opportunities to ensure your success in this role.
