Head of Events Opportunity

Live Recruitment is seeking an experienced and skilled Head of Events to join our client's team. As a key member of the organization, you will be responsible for leading a team of event professionals and overseeing the delivery of high-profile events across the globe.

About the Role

The Head of Events will work closely with clients and account teams to deliver a range of events, from conferences and meetings to product launches and travel incentives. This senior-level role requires strong leadership and management skills, as well as the ability to monitor service level agreements and maintain department efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead on larger-scale, complex events
  • Line management, training, and team development
  • Monitor service level agreements across accounts and projects
  • Maintain and improve department efficiency
  • Financial reporting and forecasting
  • Strategic business growth, collaborating with the sales team
  • Key account management and development
  • Oversee event logistics end-to-end through the team

Requirements

  • Minimum 8 years of demonstrated experience in project management within the event management and production industry
  • Proven track record in effective leadership and experience in training and mentoring team members
  • Experience in leading an operational team
  • A knowledge of all major suppliers and relevant MICE products and destinations
  • Knowledge of project management processes, standards, and procedures
