Job Description

Job Title: Paralegal

Company Overview: Brave is a specialist business legal practice that provides expert guidance to clients ranging from small owner-managed businesses to multi-national blue-chip organisations.

The Role: As a Paralegal at Brave, you will play a critical role in supporting the legal team by performing tasks that require a deeper understanding of legal procedures, research, and documentation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Document Preparation and Management: Assist in the preparation and management of legal documents, ensuring accuracy and adherence to relevant laws and regulations.
  • Legal Research: Conduct thorough research on case law, statutes, regulations, and legal articles to support the legal team in case preparation.
  • Information Gathering: Gather information from legal databases and other sources to support the legal team in case preparation.
  • Client Communication: Assist in communication with clients, including scheduling meetings or interviews.
  • Case Management: Support the day-to-day operations of the legal office, including managing calendars, scheduling appointments, and organising meetings.
  • Confidentiality and Ethics: Maintain confidentiality and uphold ethical standards in all tasks.
  • Discovery Process: Assist in the discovery process by organising and reviewing documents and preparing them for review.

Requirements:

  • Qualifying Law Degree: Must have a qualifying law degree.
  • Understanding of the Law: Demonstrable understanding of the law books.
  • Hardworking and Organised: Hardworking and able to build rapport with ease.
