Business Development Marketing Manager

Job Purpose
We are seeking a Business Development Marketing Manager to join our team at Canon Europe. As a key member of our B2B Marketing Management team, you will be responsible for developing and executing strategies to generate and nurture leads, driving revenue growth for both direct and indirect channels.
This role requires a strategic thinker with a deep understanding of marketing funnels, data analysis, and a passion for creating impactful marketing campaigns.
You will lead the demand generation marketing organisation, designing, governing, and implementing online and offline campaigns, demand generation and customer journey blueprints, including key events strategy overseeing specific customer, segment, and persona proposition development to ensure alignment between end-user needs and our B2B portfolio.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement demand generation strategies to drive marketing qualified leads, sales opportunities, and wins.
- Collaborate with the sales team to align marketing efforts with sales goals and ensure a smooth lead handoff process.
- Analyse campaign performance, measuring effectiveness and ROI using data analysis and make data-driven decisions to improve future campaigns.
- Manage a content calendar, including blog posts, whitepapers, webinars, and case studies to support demand generation efforts.
- Utilize marketing automation tools to nurture leads through the sales funnel.
- Conduct market research to stay informed about industry trends and identify new opportunities.
Requirements
- Proven track record in B2B marketing, including demand generation, content, and persona development experience within the technology sector.
- Experience managing large teams and people.
- Excellent understanding of marketing technology and social platforms.
- Knowledge of GDPR and wider data privacy legislation.
- Strong commercial acumen and comfortable with commercial marketing.
- Ability to analyse data and use marketing analytics tools to measure campaign performance.
- Cross-functional and relationship building skills.
What We Offer
