Press Office Coordinator

**Role Summary**
We are seeking a Press Office Coordinator to join our team at the CBI in London.
As a Press Office Coordinator, you will play a key role in supporting the media team in delivering high-quality content, handling day-to-day media enquiries, and writing press releases.
The successful candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
The salary for this role is approximately £30,000 per annum, plus a £5,000 on-call allowance.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Supporting the media team in executing key communication outputs
- Handling day-to-day media enquiries, including arranging TV, radio, and print interviews, and briefing journalists on and off the record on CBI policies and related issues
- Writing press releases, articles, statements, social media posts, and CBI materials for publication in the media, on the CBI website, and across social channels
**Requirements:**
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Proven experience or training in media relations, journalism, social media, or public affairs
- Good organisational and team working skills
