About the Role:

We are seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join our team in a Primary School on a contract basis. This role offers an excellent opportunity to gain valuable experience and advance your career in education.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing general classroom support, sometimes at short notice, and working with children across different Key Stages from KS1 to KS4. Strong behaviour management skills and clear knowledge of the National Curriculum are essential requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supporting students in KS1 and KS2 classes.
  • Maintaining accurate records and communicating effectively with teachers.
  • Developing and implementing strategies to support pupils with SEN.
  • Participating in staff meetings and contributing to the development of the school's educational programs.

What We Offer:

This role provides a competitive salary, estimated to be around £25,000 - £30,000 per annum, depending on experience. Service Care Education is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and vulnerable adults, and we expect all supply staff to share this commitment.
