Job Title: Challenge Events Manager

Location: Hybrid (40% office based)

Full Time: 37.5 hours

Annual Salary: £33,345

Role Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Challenge Events Manager to join our team at CSG Recruitment Solutions. As a key member of our events team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing innovative event strategies and portfolios that drive fundraising and engagement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Event Strategy and Delivery: Develop and implement current events strategy and delivery model, building supporter journeys for all event participants/attendees, while providing outstanding customer service and enabling effective registration targets.
  • Marketing and Promotion: Work effectively across marketing channels and digital advertising campaigns to drive participation and engagement.
  • Event Management: Ensure events remain within budget and that expenditure is monitored continuously, with income targets met.
  • Portfolio Development: Ongoing review and development of the challenge events portfolio, across the UK and abroad.
  • Event Innovation: Begin to design a strategy for creating and building our own events.
  • Safety and Compliance: Work with Safeguarding and Health and Safety Managers to ensure events are safe and compliant with relevant regulations.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Proven experience of running successful challenge event programmes.
  • Management of a direct report, with multiple responsibilities to exceed KPI's and income targets.
  • Experience in due diligence of event suppliers and excellent risk management skills.
  • Proven experience of in-person and virtual event management.
  • The ability to think strategically and take data-driven decisions, as well as work operationally to get things done.
  • Collaboration with internal departments to share ideas and best practices.
  • Passion for helping the community.
  • Ability to blueprint events and plan bespoke events.
