Person Specification
- Proven experience of running successful challenge event programmes.
- Management of a direct report, with multiple responsibilities to exceed KPI's and income targets.
- Experience in due diligence of event suppliers and excellent risk management skills.
- Proven experience of in person and virtual event management.
- The ability to think strategically and take data-driven decisions as well as work operationally to get things done.
- Being able to collaborate with internal departments to share ideas and best practises.
- Passion for helping the community
- Ability to blue print events and plan bespoke events.
Key Responsibilities
- Development and implementation of current events strategy & delivery model, building appropriate supporter journeys for all event participants/attendees, whilst providing outstanding customer service, enabling effective registration targets.
- Ability to work effective across marketing channels and digital advertising campaigns for driving participation.
- Ensure that events remain within budget and that expenditure is monitored continuously and income targets are met.
- Ongoing review and development of the challenge events portfolio, across UK and abroad
- Begin to design a strategy for creating & building our own events.
- Work within Safeguarding and Health and Safety Managers to ensure events are safe
