Sales and Development Role at Upsilon Gallery

We are looking for a highly motivated individual to fill the position of Director of Sales and Development. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in promoting our represented artists, adding new artists to our roster, and designing exhibition programs and event calendars.

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a solid understanding of the art market, excellent sales skills, and the ability to build relationships with collectors and other stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

  • Drive sales across all gallery channels
  • Promote our represented artists
  • Add new artists to our existing roster
  • Design exhibition programs and event calendars

Requirements:

  • BA in Art History and/or Arts Administration
  • At least 5 years of sales experience in an international art gallery or museum
  • Proven ability to meet annual sales goals
  • Strong familiarity with modern, post-war, and contemporary art
  • Familiarity with client database systems, such as Artlogic

Compensation: £60,000 + commission

Location: Mayfair, London

Working Hours: Monday – Friday, 10:00 - 18:00, with occasional additional hours required.
