**About the Role**

We are seeking a highly skilled Claims Administrator to join our team in Manchester, UK. This is an exciting opportunity for someone looking to develop their career within claims.

The successful candidate will be part of the Before the Event (BTE) Claims Team, handling indemnity provided to policyholders for pursuing/defending legal action.

### Key Responsibilities:

  • Claims Handling: Provide efficient claims handling service to customers by responding to LEI claims using excellent written and call handling skills.
  • Handle claims from start to conclusion, investigating validity and negotiating cost funding with solicitors.

### Requirements:

  • Exceptional Communication Skills: Regularly liaise with solicitors, barristers, accountants, insurance brokers, and directly with policyholders.
  • Strong analytical skills, with ability to evaluate legal documents and articulate reasoned arguments.
  • A law degree and previous insurance experience within claims handling are desirable.

### What We Offer:

  • Competitive Salary: £35,000 - £45,000 per annum, depending on experience.
  • Benefits Package: 25 days paid holiday, company pension scheme, private medical and dental cover, life assurance, travel insurance cover, income protection, and season ticket loan.
