Job Overview
Maintain a claims handling service to customers by responding to legal expenses claims using excellent written and call handling skills, in line with department service standards and internal/external service level requirements.

Role Responsibilities:
  • Handle claims from start to conclusion, investigating the validity of a claim and maintaining regular reviews of its validity, including negotiating cost funding with solicitors.
  • Liaise with solicitors, barristers, accountants, insurance brokers, and policyholders, requiring exceptional communication skills and the ability to evaluate legal documents.

Requirements:
  • Law degree or equivalent experience within claims handling is preferable.
  • Previous experience in the insurance industry, particularly in claims handling, is an advantage.
