About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated individual to join our team as a Youth Support Worker. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in providing a supportive environment for our young residents.

Responsibilities
  • Collaborate effectively with colleagues to create a positive and supportive environment.
  • Demonstrate resilience, patience, and understanding in challenging situations.
  • Use your natural flair to bring smiles to the faces of those you work with.
  • Provide emotional support and be an attentive listener.
  • Participate in activities such as film nights, baking sessions, and games with the young residents.
Requirements
  • Valid mandatory training certificates relating to the support of vulnerable young people.
  • A minimum of 3 months of paid experience working within a residential childcare setting.
  • An Enhanced DBS certificate, dated within the past 6 months or registered on the update service.
  • A NVQ Level 3 Residential Childcare (or equivalent) qualification.
What We Offer
