Job Title: Specialty Doctor for Adult Psychiatry in Waltham Forest Home Treatment Team
Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Specialty Doctor to join our Waltham Forest Home Treatment Team, providing senior medical support and leadership to our multidisciplinary team. The successful candidate will have a strong background in adult psychiatry, with mastery in the management of a broad range of mental disorders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work as part of a multidisciplinary team providing care to adult people with mental health needs across Waltham Forest.
- Provide senior medical support and direct input on clinical cases.
- Guide and supervise the team to ensure high-quality care and treatment.
- Develop links with local acute trusts' A&E departments and adult services.
Requirements:
- Full GMC Registration with a license to practice.
- Section 12 certification, or a commitment to work towards this.
- Mastery in the management of a broad range of mental disorders in adults.
- At least 4 years of full-time postgraduate training (or its equivalent gained on a part-time basis) in a relevant specialty or as a fixed-term specialty trainee.
