About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Adult Psychiatry Specialty Doctor to join our Waltham Forest Home Treatment Team. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will provide senior medical support and direct input on clinical cases, working closely with adults and their families to deliver high-quality care.
Key Responsibilities
- Work as part of a multidisciplinary team to provide care to adult individuals with mental health needs across Waltham Forest.
- Provide senior medical support and direct input on clinical cases.
- Guide and supervise team members.
- Develop links with local acute trusts A&E departments and adult services.
Requirements
- Full GMC Registration with a license to practice.
- Section 12 certification, or a commitment to work towards this.
- Mastery in the management of a broad range of mental disorders in adults.
- At least 4 years of full-time postgraduate training (or its equivalent gained on a part-time basis) in a relevant specialty or as a fixed-term specialty trainee.
