HVDC Engineering Team Lead

HITACHI ENERGY UK LIMITED is seeking an exceptional HVDC Engineering Team Lead to join their team in Glasgow. This role offers a unique opportunity to drive business success while developing a high-performing team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead a team of engineers within the HVDC engineering team, providing direction on technology, safety, delivery timelines, quality, and margin improvement
- Collaborate with local and global management to align strategic and operational plans, ensuring business alignment and efficiency gains
- Manage Hardware & IT/OT Management teams within HVDC Engineering, driving continuous improvements and identifying KPIs to ensure predictable progress and reporting of deliveries
Requirements:
- Bachelor's or master's degree in a relevant technical field
- Documented experience in management techniques, team development, and project management, preferably within HVDC Control & Protection Hardware design or IT/OT deliveries content
Estimated Salary: £70,000 - £90,000 per annum
