Job Role: KS3/4 Tutor


At Prospero Teaching, we are seeking an experienced Education Specialist to deliver bespoke education packages on a 1:1 basis to young people who are not attending school.


Duties and Responsibilities:



  • Create, plan, and deliver 1:1 tailored lessons to bridge gaps in pupils' education and boost engagement and attainment levels.
  • Work closely with Prospero Teaching to monitor the progression with each pupil and provide effective learning support.
  • Re-engage pupils in their learning and offer structure back into their daily routine.

Requirements:



  • QTS, QTLS, PGCE, EYFS, or equivalent qualifications.
  • At least 6 months of experience working in a UK school.
  • Up-to-date Safeguarding training (desirable but not essential).

Eligibility:



  • Hold Right to Work in the UK.
  • Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application.
  • Provide two professional child-related references that cover the last two years.
