We are excited to announce a fantastic opportunity for a dedicated and enthusiastic Physical Education Specialist to join one of our esteemed partner secondary schools in Stockport. This role is available to start ASAP on a long-term basis, with the possibility of going permanent for the right candidate.

As a Physical Education Specialist, key responsibilities will include:

  • Delivering engaging Physical Education lessons that cater to a range of abilities and encourage all students to participate actively.
  • Developing and implementing a comprehensive Physical Education curriculum that promotes physical fitness, teamwork, and a healthy lifestyle.
  • Monitoring and assessing student progress, providing constructive feedback to help them improve their skills and understanding.
  • Maintaining a positive, inclusive, and safe learning environment that fosters respect and enthusiasm for physical education.
  • Leading and supporting a variety of extracurricular sports and fitness activities, including after-school clubs, teams, and competitions.

Required qualifications and skills include:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Proven experience in teaching Physical Education at secondary level (although highly motivated newly qualified teachers are also encouraged to apply)
  • Strong organisational, communication, and interpersonal skills, along with a passion for sports

We offer a competitive salary of £2,500-£3,500 per week (PAYE - No Umbrella Company), as well as ongoing professional development opportunities to enhance your skills and career progression. You will also have access to comprehensive resources and support from New Directions Education.
