Civils Works Manager

About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Civils Works Manager to join our team at Galliford Try. As a key member of our delivery team, you will be responsible for the day-to-day running of projects, working closely with the Project Manager and Project Team to deliver safe, on-time, and on-budget results.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a skilled and motivated Civils Team, ensuring daily and forever-changing challenges are addressed on multiple sites.
- Order and purchase materials, and plan logistics to support project delivery.
- Conduct daily briefings, RAMS, and control measures to ensure the team works safely and efficiently.
- Guide the business in an integrated and collaborative manner through the civils phase of projects.
Requirements:
- A proven track record in the civil engineering industry, with experience in reinforced concrete, deep drainage, earth removal, and other related areas.
- Management experience, dealing with operational teams at all levels.
- Preferred experience on Scottish Water, Environment Agency, or similar projects.
- Preferred qualifications include NVQ in civil engineering, SMSTS, First Aid, Street works supervisor, and a full and clean UK driving license.
