Role Overview

In the capacity of Field IT Support Specialist, you will deliver technical assistance and service fulfillment to our colleagues, including those in regional offices and field sites.

Reporting to the Service Desk Manager, your responsibilities will include planning, preparing, and executing IT equipment setups and installations at various sites. You will also provide first and second line support to IT users, addressing reported issues, fulfilling service requests through the IT Ticketing System, and monitoring the status of IT services in your designated area.

This role involves both desktop and remote support, with occasional travel to various offices and developments as necessary.

Candidate Profile

The ideal Field IT Support Specialist will possess prior experience in IT support or service desk roles, with a solid understanding of a variety of end-user devices such as laptops, printers, phones, routers, and tablets, alongside a strong knowledge of Microsoft 365. Familiarity with ticketing systems is advantageous.

We seek an individual who thrives in a dynamic environment and can effectively prioritize tasks. You should be highly organized, capable of managing your workload independently, and comfortable working both autonomously and collaboratively. Experience in supporting a distributed user base is essential.

To excel in this role, you must demonstrate exceptional customer service skills, with strong interpersonal and communication abilities, as well as effective analytical and problem-solving skills, all with meticulous attention to detail.

A minimum educational qualification of GCSE level Grade C / 5 in Maths and English is required, along with a proficient command of the English language, both written and verbal.

A valid UK driving license is a must.
