Your Responsibilities
  • To encourage young people to take responsibility for their own lives depending on their age.
  • To deal with challenging behaviours when needed and protect children and young people from risks to their health and welfare.
  • To provide support for the children and young people in the home and promote their independence and well-being.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • A full UK manual driver's licence is required.
  • Experience as a Children's Residential Support Worker or with Young People is desirable but not essential.
  • NVQ Level 2 Health & Social Care is preferred but not essential.
