Dedicated Home Care Assistant

As a Support Worker with HomeCareDirect, you will have the opportunity to make a positive impact on the life of our client, a young lady who requires assistance due to a traumatic brain injury.
You will be employed by HomeCareDirect on behalf of the client and your focus will be to provide reliable, essential care and support in their home.
The role involves providing personal care, moving and handling, medication administration, and daily living support. You will also need to drive the client's vehicle for this role, so you should have a full, clean, UK driving licence.
Responsibilities- Support the client with personal care activities such as bathing, dressing, and toileting.
- Assist the client with mobility and transfers, including use of hoists and slings if required.
- Administer medications as directed by the client's healthcare team.
- Support the client with daily living activities such as meal preparation, cooking, and cleaning.
- A minimum of 6 months' experience in a care or support role.
- Previous experience working with individuals with physical disabilities and brain injuries is desirable.
- A full, clean, UK driving licence is essential for this role.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are required to build strong relationships with the client and other healthcare professionals.
- A competitive salary of £12.50 per hour.
