Job Title: Teaching Assistant for Autism and SEND
Location: Schools in Wisbech and surrounding areas
Estimated salary: £28,000 - £35,000 per annum.
About the RoleThis is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and caring individual to join our team as a Teaching Assistant for Autism and SEND. You will be working under the guidance of the classroom teacher to provide small group support to students with Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC), Specific Learning Disability (SLD), and medical needs.
Key Responsibilities- Supporting students with ASC, SLD, and medical needs in a school setting.
- NVQ Level 3 or equivalent qualification.
- At least six months experience working in UK schools.
- A child-centred approach to supporting students with SEND.
- Able to manage challenging behaviour consistently.
- Working with a dedicated team of consultants.
