About the Role

We are looking for a highly skilled Strategy and Operations Partner to join our Shared Services team at Simply Business. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for working closely with the Shared Services leaders to develop and implement the Shared Services Strategy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Developing and implementing the Shared Services Strategy in collaboration with the Shared Services leaders.
  • Leading various ad hoc projects related to Shared Services, including financial, system implementations, and organisational change initiatives.
  • Collaborating across the Shared Services Leadership to identify and implement process enhancements and operational efficiency improvements using appropriate methodologies.
  • Measuring and reporting on progress and status regularly to demonstrate the plan's effectiveness against strategic objectives.

Requirements:

  • An experienced professional in strategy consulting, corporate strategy, or a related role, preferably within the insuretech sector.
  • An exceptional stakeholder manager with a sound commercial background and strong attention to detail.
  • A tech domain specialist with active understanding of software development lifecycles and agile methodologies.
  • A resourceful project manager with exceptional organisational skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously to deadline.
  • Accomplished in using a variety of process improvement methodologies.
  • Experienced in analysis and the use of data to create compelling reports and stories that communicate key messages across a tech organisation and to influence various levels of management decision making.
  • A proactive self-starter, full of creative ideas and a curiosity to try out new innovative approaches e.g. with AI.
  • An adaptable collaborator who navigates dynamic situations with ease and thrives in a supportive and growth-oriented culture.

Estimated Salary: £65,000 - £85,000 per annum
