We are seeking a qualified Registered Mental Health Nurse or Registered Learning Disability Nurse (RMN or RNLD) to join our team at Appoint Healthcare. Our client is a leading national provider of health and social care services for males with mental health needs and learning disabilities.

About the Role

As a Registered Mental Health Nurse or Learning Disability Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care to younger males in our high dependency hospital. You will work across two wards, providing community-focused rehabilitation services within a full care pathway.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide individualized care to patients with complex mental health needs
  • Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans
  • Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify patient needs and develop strategies for improvement
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures
Requirements
  • A relevant nursing qualification - Registered Mental Health Nurse or Registered Learning Disability Nurse (RMN & RNLD)
  • A valid NMC registration with no restrictions
  • Eligibility to live and work in the UK
  • A minimum of two years of mental health/acute/PICU/forensic/low-high secure/NHS or private experience
  • Strong team-working skills
  • A high level of self-motivation and a flexible approach
  • A positive attitude and a naturally caring and compassionate demeanor
