About the RoleAs a Registered Mental Health Nurse or Learning Disability Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care to younger males in our high dependency hospital. You will work across two wards, providing community-focused rehabilitation services within a full care pathway.
Key Responsibilities- Provide individualized care to patients with complex mental health needs
- Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans
- Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify patient needs and develop strategies for improvement
- Develop and maintain effective relationships with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures
- A relevant nursing qualification - Registered Mental Health Nurse or Registered Learning Disability Nurse (RMN & RNLD)
- A valid NMC registration with no restrictions
- Eligibility to live and work in the UK
- A minimum of two years of mental health/acute/PICU/forensic/low-high secure/NHS or private experience
- Strong team-working skills
- A high level of self-motivation and a flexible approach
- A positive attitude and a naturally caring and compassionate demeanor
- Annual salary of £33,176 - £35,596 per annum
