About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Moving and Handling Trainer to join our team at Hr Careers & Nationwide Recruitment Service (Nrs). As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality training and assessment services to clients across various sectors.

Job Summary

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced trainer with a strong background in moving and handling training and development. You will work closely with our clients to design and deliver training programs that meet their specific needs, ensuring compliance with industry standards and best practices.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver moving and handling training to delegates from diverse backgrounds and industries.
  • Maintain professional standards and engage in continuous professional development (CPD).
  • Assess learners to ensure they meet the required certification and qualification standards.
  • Develop new products and services related to moving and handling practices.
  • Provide occupational health and safety advice to colleagues and other departments.

Requirements

  • A recognized healthcare qualification at Level 6 or occupational competence within the health and social care sector at Level 4.
  • Minimum Level 4 qualification in Safer People Handling.
  • Teaching qualification such as PTLLS or equivalent.
  • D32/D33, A1/TAQA (preferred).
  • Qualification in Health ergonomic/ Backcare management (preferred).
  • Level 3 Health and Safety e.g. Nebosh General Certificate (preferred).

Salary

The estimated salary for this role is £45,000 + car + excellent benefits, based on the location and requirements specified.
