Mental Health Practitioner

We are seeking a skilled Senior Mental Health Practitioner to join our Transformation Unit, providing critical support to schools in early identification and mental health prevention.
About the RoleThis position is focused on delivering effective early intervention strategies, working closely with primary and secondary schools to promote healthy mental well-being among children and young people.
As a senior practitioner, you will be responsible for implementing THRIVE's getting advice and getting help domains, acting as the first point of contact for schools to offer guidance through face-to-face, video, or telephone consultations.
You will also provide advice and training on whole-school approaches to mental health, empowering school staff to support young people in thriving environments.
Main Responsibilities- Early identification and assessment of emerging mental health needs in schools
- Mental health promotion through upskilling school staff, young people, and parents to normalise mental health within schools
The successful candidate will work collaboratively with the team to develop and implement interventions that support improved mental health outcomes for children and young people.
With experience in multi-disciplinary working within a mental health setting, you will possess strong organisational/time management skills, enabling you to work autonomously and manage a caseload effectively.
