Job Title: Breakdown Customer Care and Sales Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Breakdown Customer Care and Sales Specialist. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and sales support to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide clear guidance and explanations to clients, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded.
  • Offer a friendly and helpful service, displaying a passion for customer service and a commitment to excellence.
  • Work under pressure to meet deadlines and deliver results.
  • Adapt to new processes and procedures, providing feedback and suggestions for improvement.
  • Process mid-term adjustments and cancellations, ensuring seamless customer experience.
  • Collect payments for amendments or missed direct debit payments, maintaining accurate records.
  • Solve customer queries throughout the policy lifecycle, providing timely and effective resolutions.
  • Demonstrate high levels of communication, organisation, and time management to clear day-to-day workloads efficiently.
  • Provide surge support to our Breakdown Claims Advisors, answering calls and arranging relevant services.
  • Offer training and coaching to colleagues, promoting knowledge sharing and development.
  • Quoting and closing new business enquiries, building long-standing client relationships.
  • Retain existing clients at renewal, identifying opportunities to upsell additional products.
Requirements:
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to empathise and successfully deal with difficult customers.
  • Ability to work under pressure, meeting deadlines and delivering results.
  • Excellent organisational skills, with a working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.
