Kitchen Supervisor Role

Mint People is seeking an experienced Kitchen Supervisor to join our team based in Aintree. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional food quality and service to our guests.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in cooking, with experience in high-volume kitchens and a passion for fresh, quality ingredients. You will be responsible for supporting the Head Chef, developing menus, maintaining high standards of food quality and hygiene, and leading a team of junior kitchen staff.

From beloved classics to globally-inspired dishes, you will have the freedom to create and refine dishes that showcase your creativity and flair.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the Head Chef in daily kitchen operations, ensuring top-quality food preparation and presentation in a high-volume kitchen.
  • Develop and refine dishes, focusing on seasonal and innovative options.
  • Maintain high standards of food quality, consistency, and hygiene.
  • Train and supervise junior kitchen staff, fostering skill development and adherence to protocols.
  • Oversee stock, control costs, and minimize waste for efficient kitchen operations.

About You:

  • Strong background in cooking with experience in high-volume kitchens and a passion for fresh, quality ingredients.
  • Proven ability to lead, train, and motivate a team, maintaining high standards and a positive work environment.
  • Enthusiasm for developing new dishes and contributing to menu design, with a flair for creative, seasonal cuisine.
  • Highly organized with strong multitasking abilities, capable of managing and controlling costs, and ensuring smooth kitchen operations.
