IPOE CONSULTING LIMITED is a dynamic and innovative international bank based in London, seeking an experienced Payments Department Director to lead our payments department and Treasury back office. This role requires strong leadership and management skills, as well as a deep understanding of financial markets and regulatory requirements.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring up-to-date procedures are in place, aligning with our company's policies. They will also manage a team of professionals to ensure correct processing and execution of services. Additionally, this position will work closely with the COO on key projects requiring implementation within agreed timescales.

Main responsibilities include:

  • Direct the team in ensuring correct processes are in place, aligning with company policies.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve team performance and efficiency.
  • Collaborate with the COO to identify areas for improvement and implement changes.
  • Maintain awareness of individual workflows and duties, ensuring cover for the team as needed, with notifications to HR when additional resources are necessary.
  • Ensure services within the department have correct procedures and competent staff able to perform duties at the required level.
