About the Role

We are seeking an experienced IT Service Desk Professional to join our team at Global Technology Solutions Ltd. As a Technical Support Specialist, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional customer service and resolving technical issues efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Handle customer inquiries via phone, email, or chat, and respond to their queries in a prompt and professional manner.
  2. Diagnose and resolve technical issues using various troubleshooting techniques and software tools.
  3. Maintain accurate records of incidents, including dates, times, and resolutions.
  4. Collaborate with senior technicians and other teams to resolve complex issues and improve overall service delivery.

Requirements

  • A strong background in IT, preferably with experience in a help desk or call center environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with customers and colleagues effectively.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail, with the ability to analyze complex issues and provide solutions.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and other relevant software applications.

Salary and Benefits

  • A starting salary of £14.84 per hour, increasing to £15.44 per hour after 3 months.
