We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Transport Supervisor to join our team at Rise Technical Recruitment Limited. As a key member of our logistics department, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our transportation services.
About the RoleThe successful candidate will be responsible for leading a team of transport professionals and overseeing the planning and execution of daily transportation schedules. This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires strong leadership skills and experience in transport management.
This is a full-time position based in St Neots, Cambridgeshire. We offer a competitive salary package, including a basic salary of £45,000 - £50,000 per annum, plus benefits and opportunities for career progression.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead a team of transport professionals to ensure efficient and safe operations
- Plan and execute daily transportation schedules
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to improve operational efficiency
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless integration of logistics services
Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years' experience in a transport management or supervisory role
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines
