Become a vital member of our team as a Hydrology and Resources Specialist at Stantec Consulting International Ltd. where you will contribute to the delivery of innovative water resources solutions for both the UK and international clients. As part of our multidisciplinary team, you will work closely with experts from various disciplines to plan and implement water resource projects, ensuring they meet scope, budget, timescale, quality, and regulatory requirements.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to leverage your expertise in hydrology and water resources to drive business growth and develop new business opportunities. You will be responsible for leading complex water resources projects, leveraging your knowledge of water resources and hydrological data to inform decisions on water resources availability and operation of sources. Your extensive experience in using modelling software, such as Pywr, Miser, and Aquator, will enable you to bring value to our clients and help shape their water strategies.

We are looking for a highly motivated individual with a strong background in hydrology and water resources and a proven track record of delivering successful projects. You will have excellent communication skills, the ability to work independently, and be willing to support the wider water resources team when required.

We offer a competitive salary of £58,000 - £68,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus a range of benefits, including a comprehensive pension scheme, flexible working hours, and opportunities for professional development and growth.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Extensive experience in hydrology and water resources projects
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
  • Postgraduate degree in a relevant subject such as geography, geological sciences, environmental science, civil or environmental engineering
  • Chartered status with a relevant institution such as CIWEM, Institute of Civil Engineers, or the Institute of Water
