Job Role: Hardware and Software Administrator

We are looking for an experienced Hardware and Software Administrator to oversee the selection, deployment, and maintenance of hardware and software applications used across our organisation.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that applications are properly licensed, updated, and patched to maintain security and compliance standards.

Responsibilities:
  • Hardware Management:
    • Plan, procure, deploy, and maintain all IT hardware including servers, workstations, networking equipment, peripherals, and other devices.
    • Develop and implement hardware refresh cycles to ensure systems remain up-to-date and meet organisational requirements.
    • Manage vendor relationships for hardware procurement and maintenance contracts.
    • Troubleshoot hardware issues and coordinate resolution with internal teams or external vendors.
  • Applications Management:
    • Oversee the selection, deployment, and maintenance of software applications used across the organisation.
    • Ensure that applications are properly licensed, updated, and patched to maintain security and compliance standards.
    • Work closely with business stakeholders to understand application requirements and recommend appropriate solutions.
    • Provide user support and training for application usage.

We offer a competitive salary range of £24,000 - £30,000 based on experience.
