Role Overview

This role involves providing administrative support in our finance department located in South Wales or Southwest England.

The ideal candidate will have prior experience with accounting software and strong technical skills, especially in Microsoft Excel.

Key Duties:
  • Ensure accurate records for Purchase Ledger by verifying supplier accounts and payments.
  • Process client payments via phone using debit/credit cards.
  • Verify and resolve discrepancies through Bank Reconciliation to maintain account balance.
  • Handle staff expenses through Expense Processing system.
  • Participate in financial housekeeping and general administration tasks.
  • Support credit control efforts by monitoring and recovering outstanding payments when required.
Your Skills and Qualifications

To excel in this position, you must have:

  • Experience working in a similar role with a solid understanding of purchase/sales ledger processes.
  • Strong proficiency in MS Office applications, including Excel, with the ability to adapt to new software systems.
