Internal Sales Key Responsibilities

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Internal Sales Executive to join our team at Absolute Sales. As an Internal Sales Executive, you will be responsible for achieving sales targets by value, volume, and gross margin for designated areas.

  • Develop and monitor new accounts to drive business growth and expansion.
  • Respond effectively to targets set and agreed with Operations Manager to ensure sales goals are met.
  • Ensure day-to-day communication with customers via telephone, email, and other channels is of a very high and professional standard.
  • Monitor all aspects of the sales order process to ensure all procedures are complied with.
  • Provide quotations for customers using company pricing policies, cut-to-size optimising software, and CRM system.
  • Provide monthly sales reports to Sales Office Manager to track progress and identify areas for improvement.
  • Assist with all aspects of stock purchasing to meet agreed stock turn targets.
  • The candidate must ensure service levels meet customer demand while minimising costs.
  • Attend all Sales Office Meetings to stay informed and contribute to team discussions.
Internal Sales Background

To succeed in this role, you must have a proven track record in sales and business development with the ability to manage existing accounts. You should be naturally self-motivated, driven, and possess excellent communication skills.

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, are essential for building strong relationships with customers and colleagues.
  • Exceptional planning and organisational skills are required to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team to achieve sales targets.
  • Ability to prioritise workload and manage time effectively to meet deadlines.
