Job Title: Director - Leveraged Finance

Fitch Solutions is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director to join our Global Leverage Finance Research team in London, UK.

About the Role:

We are looking for a talented individual to lead our research efforts in the European leveraged finance market. As a Director, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining our analytical methodology, maintaining and expanding our suite of global research on defaults and market analysis, and serving as a liaison with our product development team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain our European bond and loan default forecasts
  • Maintain and expand our global research on defaults and market analysis
  • Serve as a liaison with our product development team
  • Communicate rating rationale to external audiences
  • Write timely and effective research on topical issues
  • Represent Fitch at industry events and conferences
  • Mentor and manage junior members of the Leverage Finance team
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree at minimum, MBA or other advanced degree a plus
  • Proven experience in the Leverage Finance market
  • Corporate Finance experience
  • Employee management experience a plus
  • Fluent with Bloomberg, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Strong analytical, quantitative, and organizational skills
  • Excellent writing and verbal communication skills
