Fitch Solutions is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Associate Director to join our Global Leveraged Finance Research team.

The Global Leveraged Finance Research Group plays a crucial role in providing insightful research on US and European Leveraged Finance Markets, encompassing defaults, credit performance, and market trends.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with senior members to produce high-quality research reports.
  • Demonstrate expertise in writing clear and concise analyses of distressed debt and market developments.
  • Develop compelling presentation materials and deliver insightful market updates.
  • Conduct thorough analysis of factors influencing credit quality within the leveraged finance sector.
  • Maintain effective communication with the development team to ensure seamless research integration.
  • Actively participate in meetings, conferences, and investor roundtables to share your expertise and network with industry professionals.

Your Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree is required; CFA designation is a significant advantage.
  • Proven experience within the Leveraged Finance market is essential.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) is mandatory.
  • Familiarity with computer programming languages such as Python or SQL is highly desirable.
  • Exceptional analytical and communication skills are crucial for success in this role.
  • Demonstrated ability to take ownership of projects and deliver results independently.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential for effective collaboration and presentation.
