About the Job

We are looking for a highly skilled and compassionate professional with at least 2 years of post-qualification experience in MRI scanning. As a Senior MRI Diagnostic Radiographer, you will play a key role in supporting the 3T MRI service at the centre, ensuring operational objectives and clinical standards are met, and upholding GenesisCare's reputation for exceptional service and outcomes.

Your expertise will be crucial in liaising closely with the multi-disciplinary team, adhering to HCPC standards of conduct, performance, and ethics, and following clinical protocols, policies, and procedures at all times.

In this role, you will create a supportive environment for diagnostic and radiotherapy staff to work effectively together as a team, ensure patients receive the highest levels of service, and maintain accurate records of patient treatments.

Responsibilities
  • Liaise closely with the multi-disciplinary team to deliver seamless patient care.
  • Support the Lead Radiographer in clinical and non-clinical aspects of the MRI process.
  • Maintain accurate and complete records of patient treatments.
  • Ensure GenesisCare clinical audit, radiation protection, and quality assurance requirements are met.
  • Build and maintain effective working relationships with stakeholders, including patients, clinicians, and colleagues.
Requirements
  • Demonstrate at least 2 years of post-qualification experience in MRI scanning.
  • Hold DCR (R) or BSc (Hons) in Radiography (or equivalent).
  • Be registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
  • Have evidence of continuing professional development.
  • Have a good understanding of legislation relating to Ionising Radiation/Radiation Protection and Health & Safety.
