Public Sector Lawyer Opportunity:

Sellick Partnership Limited - Public Sector is seeking an experienced Contracts / Procurement Lawyer to join our team on a permanent basis. As a key member of our shared legal services team, you will provide legal support and advice to local authority clients, assisting them in progressing and completing procurement processes in accordance with the Public Contract Regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing legal guidance on procurement matters, including drafting tender documents, reviewing ITT responses, and advising on contract law.
  • Assisting local authorities in establishing companies and providing company secretarial support.
  • Drafting construction contracts and associated documents on behalf of local authority clients.

Salary and Benefits:

The salary for this role is £43,000-£56,750 per annum, depending on experience. In addition to a competitive salary, we offer a range of benefits, including:

  • 1-to-1 paralegal support
  • Local Government Pension Scheme (LGPS)
  • Flexible working arrangements
  • Financial support for ongoing CPD training
  • Family-friendly policies, including generous maternity, paternity, and adoption entitlements

Location:

This role is based in the South East region, with the opportunity to work from one of our offices in central Northampton, Bedford, or Cambridge one day per week.
