Care and Learning Assistants

We are searching for a caring and compassionate individual to join our team as a Learning Assistant. This role requires someone who can provide tailored support to students with varying levels of SEN.
The successful applicant will be expected to maintain accurate records, contribute to educational planning, and develop positive relationships with students, teachers, and parents.
Main Responsibilities:
- Engage students in activities promoting cognitive, emotional, and physical growth
- Collaborate with teaching staff to enhance lesson delivery
- Support students with mealtime routines and daily living tasks
- Communicate regularly with families regarding student progress
- Adhere to data protection policies and maintain confidentiality
Essential Skills and Qualifications:
- Prior experience supporting students with SEN
- Understanding of the principles of Person-Centered Planning
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Flexibility to work across multiple projects simultaneously
- Capacity to maintain a calm demeanor under pressure
