About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Internal Auditor to join our team at Marshall Motor Group, one of the UK's largest car dealer groups. As an Internal Auditor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the effectiveness of our control environment and compliance with policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the delivery of internal audits to review the adequacy and effectiveness of our control environment.
  • Prepare accurate, logical, and detailed working papers that clearly describe the work performed and conclusions reached.
  • Interact with management and key personnel across the group to build and maintain ongoing business relationships.
  • Maintain an awareness of internal audit best practices and standards.
  • Perform other internal audit-related duties as required.

Requirements

  • Strong project and time management skills.
  • Good analytic and problem-solving skills.
  • Good communication skills, with the ability to present, challenge, and influence.
  • Ability to work independently with motivation and drive.
  • Good skills in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Working towards an internal audit or finance qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIA, CMIIA).
  • Full UK driving license.
  • High levels of diplomacy and relationship-building skills.
  • A commitment to the Marshall Values of People, Customers, Integrity, and Innovation.
