Role: We are seeking an Internal Auditor to join our team and complete internal audit activities in line with the standards established by the Institute of Internal Auditors. This role will involve delivering planned and ad hoc internal audits, as well as supporting other assurance activities.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the delivery of internal audits to review the adequacy and effectiveness of the control environment, compliance with policies and procedures, and opportunities for process improvements.
  • Prepare accurate, logical, and detailed working papers that clearly describe the work performed and conclusions reached.
  • Assist the Senior Internal Auditor and/or Head of Audit and Risk with preparing preliminary findings, development of action plans, and drafting of reports.
  • Interact with management and key personnel across the group to build and maintain ongoing business relationships.
  • Maintain an awareness of internal audit best practices and standards.

Requirements:

  • Strong project and time management skills.
  • Good analytic and problem-solving skills.
  • Good communication skills, with the ability to present, challenge, and influence.
  • Ability to work independently with motivation and drive.
  • Good skills in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Working towards an internal audit or finance qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIA, CMIIA).
  • Full UK driving license.
  • High levels of diplomacy and relationship-building skills.
  • A commitment to the Marshall Values of People, Customers, Integrity, and Innovation.
