Our Grocery Delivery Service

Deliveroo HOP is our speedy grocery delivery service launched in September 2021. We promise to deliver groceries to customers around the world in as little as 10 minutes - from the weekly shop to a last-minute dinner party or late-night snack. Working with trusted grocers, we're building a network of stores across London, the UK, and other markets.

The Role of the Site Associate

As a Site Associate, you will support the Site Management team in achieving the highest performance possible within their respective site. This includes maximizing customer satisfaction, working efficiently, ensuring accuracy in stock counting, handling stock with care and according to rotation policies to reduce wastage.

You will contribute to a positive and cooperative working environment that is pleasant for all colleagues and ensure at all times that the tasks you are carrying out are in line with all Health and Safety policies.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Pick orders efficiently to meet time targets, monitoring and responding to incoming customer orders to reduce order queue time.
  • Pick orders ensuring 100% accuracy, maintaining product quality.
  • Adhere to packaging SLAs when preparing customer orders.
  • Efficiently replenish stock, ensuring accurate inventory, strong merchandising standards, and compliant stock rotation.
  • Unload deliveries in line with company procedures.
  • Support with inventory management as requested.
  • Ensure the site remains clean and tidy at all times, dealing with any hazards urgently.
  • Comply with company standard operating procedures (SOPs).
  • Deliver strong standards within your site, adhering to merchandising and space management principles in addition to delivering a clean, tidy, organized site environment.
  • Maintain good relations to uphold Deliveroo's positive reputation with all external parties, such as neighbors, landlords, and contractors.
  • Communicate professionally and effectively with our Deliveroo riders.
  • Effectively operate and oversee the dispatch order, ensuring the accurate handling of orders to riders and minimizing mistakes.
  • Ensure appropriate timekeeping, always arriving on time for shift, taking breaks as per policy, and adhering to working time directive requirements.

What You'll Need

  • Previous experience in a similar environment is valued but not required (FMCG/Retail/Warehouse/Last mile delivery is a big plus).
  • Hands-on mentality.
  • Detailed-oriented.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Good communication skills and a good proficiency in both written and spoken English.
  • Fluency in spoken Cantonese and written Chinese is a must.
  • Right to work in HK.

Estimated Salary: $22,000 - $28,000 per annum
