Job Title: Medical Receptionist

We are seeking an experienced Medical Receptionist to join our client's GP practice in Stretford on a full-time permanent basis.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with excellent communication skills, attention to detail and the ability to multitask. As a Medical Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for patients, so it's essential that you have a professional and friendly demeanor.

The ideal candidate will have experience working within a healthcare setting and possess knowledge of medical terminology and procedures. You will also need to be proficient in using office software and electronic health records systems.

We offer a competitive salary of £25,600 per annum (based on 40 hours per week) plus additional benefits.

About the Role:

  • Answer phone calls, emails, and inquiries promptly and direct them to the appropriate personnel.
  • Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, scanning, and data entry.
  • Coordinate with medical staff to ensure smooth patient flow.

Responsibilities:

  1. Proven experience as a Medical Receptionist or in a similar role.
  2. Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures is advantageous.
  3. Proficiency in using office software and electronic health records systems, preferably Emis or SystmOne.
