As an Interim Adult Social Care Lawyer with Pick for Britain, you will be responsible for providing expert legal advice and representation to support the effective governance of the Council. About the Role:

  • Salary: £65,000 - £85,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
  • Location: Tameside
  • Job Type: Full-time

Responsibilities:

  • Undertake a mixed caseload of litigation and advice
  • Provide professional legal services to the Council and its committees on matters relating to local government
  • Draft and settle legal documentation
  • Ensure compliance with the Council's Constitution and Governance framework

Requirements:

  • Experience in Local Government/Child Care/Adult Care/Education/Prosecutions/Civil Litigation/Licensing law
  • Experience of advocacy before Courts/Tribunals/Inquiries
  • Strong ICT skills across all Microsoft products particularly Word, Excel, Teams, and PowerPoint

Working Arrangements:
