Customer Service Representative

Key Responsibilities:
• Provide high-quality service and support to our customers over the phone
• Represent the Metro Bank brand and its culture
• Offer advice to customers on various queries, including balance inquiries, payments, internet banking, card management, and mobile app usage
• Ensure all systems are updated, with attention to detail and recording of all conversations
• Follow correct processes to ensure customer safety
• Embody Metro Bank's values and be a great team player

Requirements:
• Build strong customer relationships in a fast-paced environment
• Maintain meticulous attention to detail even under pressure
• Possess a profound understanding of the risks associated with the role and their implications for both yourself and Metro Bank's customers
• Proficiency in computer skills, including a working knowledge of Microsoft Office
• Excellent English written and verbal communication skills
• Deliver outstanding customer experiences within a fast-paced environment
• A minimum of 6 months of experience in handling customer service queries and operating in an environment with controlled processes is essential
Working Arrangements & Training:
This position is part-time only. You must be flexible to work Monday to Friday from 9am-2pm, 9:30am-2:30pm, or 10am-3pm, as well as be flexible over the weekends
We will provide the necessary training to help you in this call centre role, which will include a combination of live team sessions with a trainer, self-study, and on-the-job training. This training will be a blend of activities across an initial period of three weeks.
We offer a hybrid working option for our employees. Team members working four or more days per week can enjoy two days in the office, while those working three or fewer days per week can have one office day. This benefit is available after successfully completing training and receiving sign-off.
