Job Title: Support Services Coordinator
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Support Services Coordinator to join our team at You First Support Services CIC. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for providing operational support to our support workers, ensuring the delivery of high-quality services to our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver one-to-one support to support workers to enhance their skills and knowledge.
- Conduct return-to-work interviews for support workers to ensure a smooth transition back to work.
- Chair micro-team meetings to discuss ongoing support plans and strategies.
- Carry out observations of social care practice, including medication assessments, to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Take a lead role in quality assurance audits and management reporting duties to ensure the highest standards of service delivery.
- Contribute to the writing of care plans, including assessment and risk management plans, to ensure the needs of our clients are met.
- Support on-call duties once a month, providing cover for last-minute support worker absences and receiving a retainer payment of £150 plus hourly rate for any support delivered.
Requirements:
- Experience in a similar role, preferably in a social care setting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Highly organized and able to prioritize tasks effectively.
Working Hours: 28-37 hours per week, with flexibility to work additional hours as required.
Hourly Rate: £14.75 per hour, plus £150 retainer payment for on-call duties.
