About the Role

HealthNet Homecare is a leading provider of homecare services, delivering high-quality care to patients across various therapy areas. We are seeking an experienced Asset Management and Purchasing Assistant to join our team in a dynamic and supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Asset Management: Manage and maintain patient assets in accordance with recommended servicing and maintenance requirements.
  • Purchasing Support: Assist the Buyer with all aspects of their role, including sourcing new assets and managing stock replenishment.
  • Communication: Effectively communicate with internal customers and external suppliers to ensure seamless operations.
  • Project Participation: Participate in projects to improve purchasing and asset management processes, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Collaboration: Liaise with other departments to forecast and plan for demand, ensuring timely delivery of assets.
  • Health and Safety: Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, maintaining a safe working environment.
  • Data Management: Submit accurate and timely data as required by the business, supporting informed decision-making.
  • Professional Development: Undertake regular personal development to ensure detailed knowledge of regulatory and good practice frameworks for medication management in care homes.
Requirements
  • Excellent Communication Skills: Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with diverse stakeholders.
  • Computer Literacy: Demonstrate proficiency in computer software and systems, with the ability to learn new technologies quickly.
  • Proven Track Record: Showcase a proven track record of achieving activity targets, with a focus on quality and efficiency.
  • Quality Management: Possess experience of quality management standards, with a commitment to delivering high-quality services.
  • CIPS Qualification: Hold a CIPS professional qualification or similar, demonstrating expertise in procurement and supply chain management.
